Mrs. Sally Earline "Pat" Parris, age 62, of Cave Spring, formerly of Cedartown, passed away July 21, 2010. She was born March 3, 1948 in Cedartown, the daughter of the late Eddie and Nellie Williams Wright. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Parris is preceded in death by son, John Parris; sisters, Cornelia Wright and Mary Ann Wills; brother, Leon "Bud" Wright.

Mrs. Pat Parris is survived by husband, Hoyt Jesse Parris; son and daughter-in-law, Hoyt and Karen Parris; daughter-in-law, Dara Lynn Parris; sisters, Peggy Jones, Vera Odom, Margaret Hamby, Gail Fincher; brothers, Glenn Wright and Ronnie Wright. Grandchildren, Patrick Parris, Christopher Parris, Ashley Parris, Tyler Parris, and Jeffery Parris; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

The funeral service for Mrs. Sally Earline "Pat" Parris will be conducted on Friday, July 23rd, at 2:00 p.m. at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Rockmart with Rev. Roger Parris and Rev. Robert Rudeseal officiating. Mrs. Parris will lie in state at the church from 1:00 – 2:00. At this time the family will receive friends.

Interment will be in Polk Memory Gardens in Cedartown.

Pallbearers are Mike Shuman, Keith Shuman, Steven Shuman, Chris Shuman, Tony Rudeseal, and Patrick Parris. Honorary Pallbearers are Christopher Parris and Tyler Parris.

The family has respectfully requested that flowers be omitted and memorial contributions be made to The First National Bank of Polk County, Pat Parris Memorial Fund, 131 West Elm St., Rockmart, GA 30153.
