Mrs. Sally Ruth Baker Lindsey, age 84, of Cedartown passed away Friday July 18, 2008. She was born on February 25, 1924 in Hogansville, Ga. the daughter of Mr. Danville Baker and Mrs. Maggie Baker.

Mrs. Lindsey was a member of East View Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Herman Lindsey, and her son, Terry Lamar Lindsey.

Mrs. Lindsey is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Delores Lindsey Wood and Dean Wood; her son and daughter-in-law, Jamie Lindsey and Nina Lindsey; and her Grandchildren, Amie Lindsey, Rachel Lindsey French, Tiffany Castellauos and Jonathan Wood. She is also survived by her Great Grandchildren, Andrew Rainey, John French and three sisters, Dorothy Geiger, Jewell Clayton, and Jeanette Cain.

The funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday July 22 at 2:00pm at East View Baptist Church with Rev. Reginald Campbell and Dr. Charles Drummond officiating.

The interment will follow in East View Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Monday July 21 from 7 until 9pm at the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home

Pallbearers will be the Deacons of East View Baptist Church.

The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Sally Ruth Baker Lindsey.
