Ms. Ruth Voyles Woodell, age 93, of Cave Spring, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2025. She was born on November 5, 1931 in Cedartown, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Edgar N. Voyles and Gladys Shaw Voyles.

Ms. Woodell is survived by her daughters, Kathy Carter (Jimmy) and Robyn Pitkins (Paul); grandchildren, Cristen Carter Story (Jamie), Kelly Carter Harbin (Ben), Lauren Pitkins Glosson (Moxon) and Sarah Ruth Pitkins; and great-grandchildren Lew Story, Sophi Shumate, Carter Story, Ben Harbin III and Nora Ruth Harbin.

Ms. Woodell is preceded in death by her parents; and brother, George Edward Voyles.

The funeral arrangements for Ms. Woodell will be held on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at eleven o'clock in the morning at Cedartown First Methodist Church with Rev. Britt Madden, Jr. officiating.  A private interment will follow for the family in Jackson Chapel Cemetery.

The family of Ms. Woodell will received family and friends on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 from five o'clock in the evening until seven o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Jamie Story, Ben Harbin Jr., Ben Harbin III, Carter Story, Lew Story, Moxon Glosson and Dylan Jackson.
