Mrs. Ruth Lovett Marty, age 89, of Aragon, Georgia passed away on Monday, February 9, 2009. She was born March 23, 1919 in Flagler, Colorado.

Mrs. Marty is preceded in death by husband, Rev. Royal J. Marty, Sr. and parents, Ruth and Charles Lovett.

Family members surviving are sons and daughters-in-law, Rob and Wendy Marty, Roger and Susan Marty, and Royal Marty, Jr. and Kathy Marty; grandchildren, Kimberly Hickman, Merissa Marty, Royal Marty, Meghan Marty, Mason Marty, and Robbie Marty; sister, Jean Hanke. Mrs. Marty was a host parent to Lily Kho of Singapore and Melanio "Lindy" Loresco of the Philippines.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, February 10th, at 5:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Michael P. Williams officiating.
