Mrs. Ruby Green, age 92, of Cedartown passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2008 at her residence. She was born July 1, 1915 in Cherokee County, Alabama.

Mrs. Green is predeased by husband, John B. Green, Jr. and parents, Perry Jefferson Garmon and Emma Chandler Garmon.

Family survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Jan and Sammy Watson; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Dawn Green; sister, Ruth Frazier. Grandchildren, Kari Green and Ryan Davis also survive.

The funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, April 8, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Patrick Latham and Dr. DeWayne New officiating. Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the funeral hour.

Pallbearers are Sammy Watson, Ryan Davis, Lewis Welchel, and Dennis Duncan.
