Mr. Roy Lee Wiggins, age 70, of Cedartown passed away on Monday, February 18, 2008.
He was born June 5, 1937 in Floyd County.

He is preceded in death by parents, Arthur and Minnie Wiggins; brothers, Jay Wiggins and Jerry Wiggins; stepson, Clifford Timms.

Survivors include companion, Willie Mae Timms; daughter, Rita Middleton of Cave Spring; sons, Ricky Wiggins, Randy Wiggins, Russell Wiggins, and Shane Wiggins all of Rome; step-daughters, Lorene Washburn, Arlene Godfrey, Darlene Timms, and Linda Carter all of Cedartown; step-sons, Donald Timms, James Timms both of Cedartown; sisters, Dorothy Carter, Faye Frost, and Marie Siatta all of Rome; brother, Paul Wiggins, Sr. of Rome. Three grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, thirty-two step-grandchildren; a number of step-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews also survive.

The funeral service for Mr. Roy Lee Wiggins will be conducted on Thursday, February 21 at 2:00 p.m. at the Felton Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Shoemaker and Rev. Donald Oswald officiating. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the funeral service. Interment will follow in the Center Baptist Church Cemetery, Felton, Georgia.

At all other times the body will lie in state at 1334 South Main St., Cedartown. The family will receive friends at the same residence.

Pallbearers are Ricky Truett, Matt Smith, Pee-wee Welchel, J. R. Timms, Randy Wells, and Lee Dunn, Jr.

Honorary pallbearers are Brad Truett, Rusty Nale, James (Dooley) Welchel, Waylon Grissom and Danny Timms.

The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for Mr. Roy Lee Wiggins.
