Mr. Roy W. Milam, age 71 of Cedartown, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2014. He was born on February 7, 1943 in Clay County, Alabama.

Mr. Milam is survived by his mother, Frankie Young Patterson; wife, Rita Wadkins Milam; daughter and son-in-law, Martha Milam Christian and Wayne; step-son, Donnie Wadkins (Crystal); one grandson, Dustin Blake Christian; granddaughters, Brettney White, Savannah White and Makalah White, Step-Brother Jimmy Patterson; and sisters, Lynn Patterson (Bob), Doris Shears (David), Anne Story and Linda Story (Kenneth).

Mr. Milam is preceded in death by his father, Herman Milam and brother, Rufus Luther Milam.

The funeral arrangements for Mr. Milam will be conducted on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at one o'clock in the afternoon in the Gammage Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Danny Shears and Wendy Earley giving eulogies and Rev. Danny Tucker with prayer. Interment will follow in the Polk Memory Gardens cemetery.

The family of Mr. Milam will receive family and friends on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 from six o'clock in the evening until eight o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Donnie Wadkins, Randy Earley, Dale Shears, Dennis Shears, Jimmy Patterson, Dustin Christian, Wayne Christian and Dwayne Shears.
