Mr. Ronald Lewis Ellison, Sr. age 71 of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2015. He was born on May 17, 1944 in Clinton, OK. He was the son of the late Clayton Ellison and Lola Catherine Baker Davis.

Mr. Ellison is survived by his loving wife, Joyce Davis Ellison; daughter and son-in-law, Angela Shuman and Chris; sons and daughter-in-laws, Ronald Lewis Ellison, Jr., Rick Ellison and Amy and Robert Ellison and Dayana; sisters and brother-in-law, Elaine Ising and Jim and Vesta Foster; brother and sister-in-law, Wendell Ellison and Rhonda; 12 grandchildren, Ty Ellison, Sydney Ellison, Codi Howerton, Blake Ellison, Matt Harris, Kristen Harris, Chris Shuman, Jr., Lance Ellison, Katlyn Striplin, Jacquelyn Glass, Valerie Glass and Walker Glass; six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral arrangements for Mr. Ronald Lewis Ellison, Sr. will be conducted on Thursday, September 24, 2015 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Joey Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery with Full Military Rites conducted by the Brewster-Cleveland American Legion Post 86.

The family of Mr. Ellison will receive family and friends on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 from five o'clock in the evening until seven o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Ronald Ellison, Rick Ellison, Robert Ellison, Ty Ellison, Lance Ellison and Matt Harris.
