Mr. Roland Billy Jackson, age 81, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021.  He was born on April 17, 1940 in Haralson County, Georgia.  He was the son of the late Clarence and Dolvie Norris Jackson.

Mr. Jackson proudly served the Cedartown Community for 32 years at the Cedartown Fire Department.

Mr. Jackson is survived by his wife, Diane Dyer Jackson; daughter, Dondra Bowman (Anthony) of Rockmart, GA; son, Toby Dyer (Teresa) of Centre, AL; grandchildren, Caleb Bowman and Kylie Garmon; sisters, Margie Redding and Barbara Hopkins (James); sister-in-law, Sharon Jackson; and special nephew, Shane Smith.

Mr. Jackson is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Gary Jackson, Edward Jackson, Charles Jackson, and Lanorris Jackson; and sisters, Kathryn Wood, Meralyn Smith and Myrtle Chandler.

A graveside service for Mr. Roland Billy Jackson will be held on Friday, October 29, 2021 at eleven o'clock in the morning in the family lot of Northview Cemetery with Rev. Barry McCollough officiating.

The gentlemen former and present of the Cedartown Fire Department will serve as pallbearers.
