Mr. Roger Dale Brown, age 56, of Cedartown, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2010. He was born June 5, 1953 in Carrollton.
He is preceded in death by parents, James A. Brown and Nodena Daniel Brown.
Mr. Brown is survived by wife of thirty-one years, Jean Brown; children, Carol Markley, Lisa Meeks, Melissa Brown, Christi Shealy, Alice Pierce; grandchildren, Nathan Meeks, Meagan Meeks, Brook Meeks, Bridgette Meeks, Lexie Alford, Braylen Pierce, Layla Shealy, Mylee Alford, Benjamin Morgan, Josh Morgan. Also survived by brothers and sisters, Johnny Brown, Bobby Brown, Francis Lewis, Jimmy Brown, Dennis Brown, Doug Brown, Deloris Smith, and Patricia Tidwell.
The funeral service for Mr. Roger Dale Brown will be conducted on Friday, April 30th, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Gann officiating and daughters, Melissa Brown, Christi Shealy, and Alice Pierce speaking.
Visitation will be prior to the service from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at Gammage Funeral Home
Interment will be in Stripling Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, 1830 S. Hwy 27, Carrollton, GA 30117. Pallbearers are Jeremy Alford, Phillip Alford, Chris Shealy, Cindy Bell, Matt Pierce, and Truitt Alford.
The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for Mr. Roger Dale Brown.
