Mr. Myers Robert "Yogi" Shellhorse, age 67, passed away on Wednesday, April 11, 2012. He was born on December 30, 1944 in Cedartown. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Edward and Ineze Hulsey Shellhorse.

Mr. Shellhorse is survived by his wife, Mrs. Cathy LaVerne Wallace Shellhorse; sons, Bobby Shellhorse and Kevin Shellhorse; sister, Sue Johnson; brother, David Shellhorse; one grandchild, Brittany Stone and two great-grandchildren, Landon Stone and Brantley Stone.

Mr. Shellhorse is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Ann Bradley and Martha Hobbs and brother, Howard Shellhorse.

In keeping with Mr. Shellhorses' wishes' he was cremated. A memorial service for Mr. Shellhorse will be conducted on Sunday, April 15, 2012 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the Chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in the Northview Cemtery with full military rites that will be conducted by the American Legion Brewster-Cleveland Post #86 Honor Guard.

The family of Mr. Shellhorse will receive family and friends on Sunday, April 15, 2012 from one o'clock in the afternoon until the funeral hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.
