Mr. Robert Benny Williams, age 66, of Cedartown, GA, passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2009. He was born in Polk County on March 23, 1943, the son of the late Lemual Gaines Williams and Rebecca Marie Knight.

Mr. Williams is survived by sister, Nancy Miller Dyer and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Williams is preceded in death by his parents, stepfather, Robert H. Pope, and special friend, Lia Morris.

The memorial service for Mr. Williams will be conducted on Saturday, August 8, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Pyles officiating and Pastor Stacey Boozer.

The family will receive friends prior to the memorial service from 12:00 – 2:00 at the Gammage Funeral Home.
