Mr. Robert Speight, age 95, of Cedartown, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2016. He was born on May 28, 1920 in Tallapoosa, Georgia. He was the son of the late Alexander Speight and Sarah Elizabeth Davis Speight.

Mr. Speight is survived by his sons and daughter-in-law, Charles and Ann Speight and Ronald Speight; daughters and son-in-laws, Patricia and Larry Harrison, Sandra Fuqua, Wanda Ward and Rita and Mike Shue; brother, Harmon Speight; nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Mr. Speight is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Addie Belle Bentley Speight and sisters, Mary Clay, Blanche Johnson, Clara Bentley and Evelyn Pruitt.

The funeral arrangements for Mr. Robert Speight will be conducted on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at one o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Polk Memory Gardens Cemetery with Military Rites conducted by the Brewster-Cleveland American Legion Post #186 Honor Guard.

The family of Mr. Speight will receive family and friends on Saturday, May 14, 2016 from eleven o'clock in the morning until the funeral service hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The family has requested that flowers are to be omitted and memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
