Robert Harrison Popham, age 20, of Cedartown, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2009. He was born in Floyd County, GA on March 22, 1989.

Harrison is preceded in death by his grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. B. E. Popham, Sr.

He is survived by his parents, Dr. Ray Popham, Sr., and Barbara Gay Gurley Popham; sister, Christi Popham Thomas and husband, Zach; brothers, Chip Popham and wife, Lindsey, and John Popham; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Gurley, Sr.; uncles, Dr. and Mrs. B. E. Popham, Jr., and Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Gurley, Jr.; cousins, Ben Popham III, Valorie Popham Ennis, Gay Popham Miller, Sydney Gurley, Will Gurley, and Greyson Gurley; and nieces, Louci Thomas, Annabelle Thomas, Ellesie Thomas, and Ella Popham.

The funeral service will be conducted on Friday, October 16, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church with Dr. David Taylor and Rev. Wayne Benefield officiating.

The interment service will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Chip Popham, John Popham, Joe Colquitt, Josh Cook, Amos Tuck, Drew Carter, Hayden Roberson, Jordan Rayburn, Ridge Walker, Dylan Mason, Lee McDowell, Van Hunt, Drew Shaw, Daniel Morris, Michael Corvin, and Wright Abney.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 15, 2009 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Olin L. Gammage & Sons Funeral Home.
