Mr. Robert W. "Bob" Parrish age 80, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2008 after an extended illness. He was born September 5, 1927 in Charleston, West Virginia, the son of Dayton Parrish and Macil Carnes Parrish.
He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Helen Ruth Brown Parrish; daughter, Linda Jane Parrish; and sons, Steve Parrish and Chip Parrish.
Family survivors include daughters, Jeannie Clark of San Antonio Florida, Debbie Allen of Cedartown, and Dreama Bozeman O'dell of Cedartown; sons, Ricky Lee Parrish of Tallapoosa and Joe Parrish of Tallapoosa; Grandchildren, Lisa King, Johnny Bozeman, Kathy Albury, Shirley Turner, Robby Allen, Angie McCall, Kelly Dees, Mathew Parrish, Sonny Smith, Robert Smith, and Amanda Smith; 11 Great Grandchildren; numerous Brothers and Sisters, and a host of nieces and nephews. Mr. Parrish is also survived by special friend and companion, Mary Jo Roberts of Esom Hill.
The memorial service for Mr. Parrish will be conducted on Wednesday, June 25, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Richard Argo officiating.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 24, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Gammage Funeral Home.
