Mr. Robert Jones, age 79, of Cedartown, Georgia passed away on Sunday, October 7, 2012. He was born on May 11, 1933 in Polk County.

Mr. Jones is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Keith and Anita Jones; Jerome and Joyce Jones; grandchildren, Jeremy Jones, Deric Jones, Zach Jones, Cory Jones, Chris Austin, Kelley Howell; four great-grandchildren. Also surviving are brother, Hoyt Jones; half-brother, Styles Woods; a number of nieces and nephews.

Mr. Jones is preceded in death by wife, Peggy Joyce Wright Jones, who passed away September 16, 2012; father, William Chesley Jones; mother Tidy Mae Rudeseal Jones Woods and two sisters; three brothers.

The graveside funeral service for Mr. Robert Jones will be conducted on Tuesday, October 9th, at 3:00 in the afternoon at Lee's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Billy Vines and Rev. Joel Smith officiating.

The family will receive friends on Monday, October 8th from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the Gammage Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Jeremy Jones, Deric Jones, Zach Jones, Cory Jones, Chris Austin, and Tony Howell. Honorary pallbearers are Dave McKibben, Ricky Robinson, Tom King, Monk Mullinax.

The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for Mr. Robert Jones.
