Robert Michael Johnson, age 45 of Mandan, North Dakota, passed away on Thursday, July 25, 2013.
A native of Cedartown, Georgia he was born on September 13, 1967 in Polk County. He was a son of the late Charles David Johnson of Cedartown. Mr. Johnson is survived by his loving mother, Janet A. Junkins and step-father, Jerry Junkins of Silver Creek, Georgia; twin sister, Michelle Madden of Murrayville; children, Katherine Farrister (granddaughter, Elizabeth Jewel Farrister) and son, Will Kelley. He is also survived by both his paternal and maternal grandmothers, Annie M. Davis of Rome and Louise Crowley of Cedartown; one niece, Samantha Madden; the mother of his children, Beth Burford; Aunt, Beatrice Parker; Uncle, Harold Wyatt; and numerous cousins.
Mr. Johnson was loved by his family and friends and will be missed greatly. He was a kind and compassionate person. He was a highly skilled surveyor which he enjoyed very much. As a Christian Mr. Johnson is now in Heaven, praising the Lord, free of all the pain and suffering he experienced since his traumatic head injury in 2010.
Gammage Funeral Home in Cedartown has charge of the arrangements. Services will be Saturday, August 3, 2013 with visitation from 1-2pm followed by a memorial service in the chapel.
Graveside service will follow at Northview Cemetery. Friends and family are welcome to attend.
