Mr. Robert "Bobby" H. Hopkins, age 83 of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, September 24, 2019. He was born on May 10, 1936 in Cedartown. He was the son of the late Emmett Hopkins and Annie Welchel Hopkins.

Mr. Hopkins is survived by his son, Stanley Hopkins (Polly); sisters, Barbara Ann Smith (Jimmy), Wynette White, Diane Harrell (Terry) and Joyce McLarty (David); brothers, Ray Hopkins (Sara), Alvin Hopkins (Glenda), James Hopkins (Barbara), and Ronnie Hopkins (Angi); granddaughter, Kayland Hopkins; and close friend, Sue Mason.

Mr. Hopkins is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Elizabeth Freeman Hopkins; daughter, Carol Hopkins Lane; and brothers, John "Tinker" Hopkins (Bea) and Bunn Hopkins.

The funeral arrangements for Mr. Robert Hopkins will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Dr. Charles Drummond officiating.  Interment will follow in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery with Brother Joe Redding officiating.

The family of Mr. Robert Hopkins will receive family and friends on Friday, September 27, 2019 from five o'clock in the evening until eight o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Michael Gable, Justin Gable, Adam Gable, Dennis Harrell, Kenneth Hulsey and Mike Hulsey. Honorary pallbearers will be  Mike Ferguson, Bob Aring, and all the deacons of New Harmony Baptist Church.
