Mr. Ricky John Wooten, age 58 of Cedartown, passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2013. He was born on September 28, 1954 in Polk County. He was the son of the late Hershel Wooten and Maidred Adams Wooten.
Mr. Wooten is survived by his aunt, Elizabeth Oliver; nieces, Kimberley Isbell and Rhonda Hampton, nephew, Chuck Isbell and great-nieces, Rebecca Isbell, Gracie Isbell and Kaley Patterson.
Mr. Wooten is preceded in death by his parents; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Ann Hampton and Charles Hampton; aunts, Gertrude Gilmore and Dell Roberson.
The funeral arrangements for Mr. Wooten will be conducted on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at two o'clock at the Mount Olive Baptist Church in Rome, with Rev. Johnny Carroll and Rev. Bryan Prance officiating. Interment will follow in the Polk Memory Gardens.
The family of Mr. Wooten will receive family and friends on Friday, September 20, 2013 from six o'clock in the evening until eight o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Chuck Isbell, Dewayne Roberson, Charles Roberson, Jeff Atkins, Jeff Oliver, David Brown and Richard Wooten.
