Mr. Ricky Franklin Roberson, age 61 passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2014. He was born June 27, 1953 in Atlanta. He was the son of the late John Roberson and Ethel Smith Roberson.

Mr. Roberson is survived by his wife, Vickie L. Phillips Roberson; step-son, Brian A. Meadows; step-daughters, Sarah E. Meadows and Tiffany R. Jones; grandchildren, Silas K. Meadows, Jessy Bogan, Emily Tinsely, Tyler Tinsely, Nicholas Jones and Michael Cole Patterson; sisters, Janice Buttram (Anthony), Peggy Barnett, Brenda Reddish (Lyvon) and Rhonda Norton (Ricky), nieces and nephews, Darrell Chastain, Wayne Chastain, Pete Chastain, Dennis Chastain, Rodney Chastain, Eric Barnett, Brain Reddish, Roscoe Reddish, Dane Benefield, Alitia Henderson, Amanda Link and Shane Norton, and several great-nieces and nephews.

Mr. Roberson is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Doyce Roberson and step-son, Michael Patterson.

In keeping with his wishes Mr. Roberson was cremated. A memorial service for Mr. Roberson will be conducted on Sunday, November 23, 2014 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Head officiating.
