Mr. Rick Allen Nichols, age 51 of Cedartown, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2015 peacefully surrounded by family at home after a lengthy illness. He was born on February 20, 1964 in the Panama Canal Zone.

Mr. Nichols is survived by his mother, Maxine Blake Nichols; sister, Teresa (Tessie) Nichols; sister and brother-in-law, Katie Nichols Hoover and Jerry Higginbotham; brother and sister-in-law, Chuck and Donna Nichols; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; three special aunts and many cousins. He also loved his pets very much.

Mr. Nichols is preceded in death by his father, Charles Edward Nichols, Sr.

In keeping with Mr. Nichols wishes' he was cremated. A memorial service for Mr. Nichols will conducted on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at two o'clock in the afternoon at the Friendly Baptist Church with Rev. Corey Smith officiating. The family of Mr. Nichols will receive family and friends at the home of Ms. Teresa Nichols, 104 Forrest Lane, Cedartown, GA 30125 up till the memorial service hour.
