Mr. Richard Gary Wood "Ricky", age 57, of Cedartown, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2013. He was born on March 10, 1956 in Rome, Georgia.

Mr. Wood was a member of the Elections Union of Atlanta- IBEW-Local Union 613 International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.

Mr. Wood is survived by his parents, Clifton Thomas Wood and Barbara Ann Mullinax Wood; sister, Layne Wood Sanders; nephew, Aden Jiles; grandmother, Claudia Mullinax and several aunts and uncles also survive.

Mr. Wood is preceded in death by his grandparents, Hollis and Daisy Wood, Lillian Brown and JT Mullinax.

In keeping with Mr. Wood's wishes he was cremated. A memorial service for Mr. Wood will be conducted on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the Gammage Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joel Smith officiating.

The family of Mr. Wood will receive family and friends on Wednesday, July 31, 2013 from twelve o'clock (noon) until the memorial service hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.
