Mr. Richard Joel Beck, age 27, of Cedartown, passed away on Sunday, December 30, 2012. He was born on September 26, 1985 in Rome, Georgia.

Richard was a member of the Truth and Life Ministries.

Richard is survived by his parents, Joel Beck and Denise Warren; step-mother, Marilyn Beck; step-father, Dorsey Warren; sisters, Hope Williams, Megan Williams and Crystal Davis; brothers, Chunky Beck, Phillip Beck, Allen Williams, Dustin Williams and Dorsey Warren, Jr. and several nieces and nephews also survive.

Richard is preceded in death by his grandparents, William Beck and Nancy Beck and uncle, Joey McGatha.

The funeral arrangements for Richard will be conducted on Saturday, January 5, 2013 at eleven o'clock in the morning at Eastview Baptist Church with Rev. John Vines, Rev. Robert Vines and Rev. John Redden officiating. Interment will follow in the Eastview Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family of Richard will receive family and friends on Friday, January 4, 2013 from six o'clock in the evening until nine o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; TT McGatha, Stevie McGatha, Chris McGatha, Eric Limon, Tony Richardson, Richie Jennings, Josh Brown and Derik Garner. Honorary pallbearers will be Dustin Williams, Allen Williams, Randy Henson, Joseph Beck and Regina Beck Simpson.
