Mr. Richard "Dicky" Payton Baker, age 81, of Cedartown passed away Thursday, April 3, 2008. He was born May 29, 1926 in Troup County, Georgia to the late Bascomb Brooks Baker and the late Mollie Key Baker.

Family members surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Michael Reeves; daughter, Beth Baker White; Grandchildren, David Reeves, Ella Reeves, and Nikki Reeves, and Steve White; Great Grandchildren, Justin Creamer, Chloe Beth White, and Michael White. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Lucille Suttle and Mildred Frazier, and a brother, Ralph Baker.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April, 5 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The funeral service for Mr. Richard Payton Baker will be conducted on Sunday, April 6 at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Bishop David Huskins and Pastor Mark Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery.
