Mr. Rex Allen Harrell, age 52, of Cedartown, passed away Thursday, October 22, 2009. He was born June 21, 1957 in Polk County, the son of Pete Harrell and Margaret Emma Jean Harrell.

He is survived by wife, Anna Mae Brimer Harrell; daughters Nikki Brimer, Heather Lee Perry, Cindy Vines, Martha Vines; Son, Randy "Bubba" Perry, Jr.; father, Pete Harrell; sisters, Judy Shanks, Shelby Truett; brothers, Terry Harrell, Jimmy Harrell, Richard Harrell, Robert Harrell, Joe Harrell. A grandchild, Ahleeya Nicole Brimer, several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Mr. Harrell is preceded in death by mother, Margaret Emma Jean Haney Harrell; brothers, Jerry Harrell and Curtis Harrell.

The funeral service for Mr. Rex Allen Harrell will be conducted on Sunday, October 25th, at 2:00 p.m. at the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, Taylorsville, Georgia with Rev. Joe Shoemaker officiating. The interment will be in the Mt. Tabor Church cemetery.

Pallbearers are Chris Shanks, Travis Shanks, Matt Harrell, Kenneth Kimsey, Ken Kimsey, and Rance Harrell. Honorary Pallbearers are Ricky Harrell, Jimmy Harrell, Randy Shanks, Kyle Shanks, Joe Harrell, Cody Cantrell.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 24th, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home.
