Ms. Rebecca "Becky" Pettit Caldwell, age 63, of Cedartown passed away on Monday, May 2, 2011. She was born Sept. 18, 1947 in Sacramento, CA, the daughter of Byron Pettit and the late Gilda Kerns Pettit.

Ms. Caldwell is survived by daughters, Stacie Caldwell Sanders, Laurel Womack and Mary "MiMi" Pope; son, Ty Caldwell; father, Byron Pettit; brother, Gray Pettit.
She is also survived by grandchildren, Shea Griffith, Tyler Griffith, Adrianna Sanders, Haden Pope, Brian Pope, Savannah Nix, Trevor Caldwell, Dylan Smith, Kade Smith, Zack Womack, Breanna Womack, Elizabeth Womack, Owen Womack; great-grandchildren, Lexie Pope, Dreven Pope, Amberley Pope, Braylin Pope, and Zaylee Womack. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Ms. Caldwell's wishes she was cremated. A graveside memorial service will be conducted on Thursday, May 5, at 3:00 p.m. in the Northview Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Benefield and Rev. Nancy English officiating.
