Rachel (Elaine) Beals, 71, passed away September 12, 2016. She was born September 21, 1944 in Cedartown, GA, to the late Ronald Franklin Trammell, and Maude Bell Shelnut. She was a loving wife, mother, stepmother, nana, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.


Elaine survived by her husband of 39 years, James Edward Beals. In addition to, surviving, son John Ingram, step children James Beals, Jr. and Cynthia Ratley. After a family tragedy, Elaine took on the role of a raising both Jesse Bishop Jr, and Samantha Bishop (Bell). She loved all her grandchildren, daughter in law/ Lisa Michelle Ingram and had a special "nana" relationship with grandson /John Edward Ingram.


She was predeceased by her three sisters /Rachel Wright, Cocoa, FL, Louise Floyd, and Jo Bishop, Cedartown, GA and four brothers Jim Trammell, William Trammel, Lester Trammel, of Cedartown, GA and R.F. Trammell, Trafford AL.

A Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home, Hardage-Giddens Town & Country for September 14, 2016 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral is set for September 15, 2016 at 11:00 am.
