Mr. Phillip Doyle Spann, age 75, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 21, 2026. Born on May 25, 1951, in Cedartown, he was the beloved son of the late William Doyle and Janie Carter Spann.

Mr. Spann was a devoted member of Southside Baptist Church in Cedartown. He retired as an engineer from CSX Railroad, a career marked by dedication and hard work. Above all, he cherished his family deeply.

He is lovingly survived by his devoted wife, Patsy Spann; his children, daughter Darla Fox (Dan) and son Jason Doyle Spann (Michelle Brooks); sister Connie Mullen (Jerry), brother Ronnie Spann (Karen); grandchildren Amber Lauren Pruitt (Dakota), Dylan Fox, Brody Spann, Jacob Spann; great-granddaughter Caroline Pruitt; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will welcome relatives and friends on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 1:00 PM until the hour of the funeral service at Gammage Funeral Home. Services will be held at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Southerland and Rev. Joel Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Northview Cemetery.
