Mr. Phillip Edward Johnson, age 48, of Cedartown passed away on Friday, September 14, 2007. He was born December 15, 1958 in Calhoun County, Alabama.

Mr. Phillip Edward Johnson was preceded in death by his sister Sandy Johnson.

He is survived by his mother and step-father, Lucy and Roy Anderson; father and step-mother, William and Barbara Johnson; daughter, Crissie Johnson; son, Jacob Johnson; son, Duane Pullen; sisters, Pat Carroll and Pam Shelton; and brothers, Michael Johnson and Ricky Hallman.

The funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, September 18 at 3:00 p.m. at Friendly Baptist Church with Rev. R. B. Hulsey, Rev. Trey Jones, and Rev. Ron Carroll officiating. Mr. Johnson's body will lie in state at the church from 2:00 p.m. until the funeral hour. Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Monday, September 17 from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Tommy Packer, Norris Jones, Dennis Alexander, Jay Liner, Ricky Hallman, Jr. and Josh Jones.

Honorary Pallbearers are John Redding and Joe Redding.
