Mr. Phillip A. Jackson, age 62 of Cedartown, passed away on Wednesday, July 23, 2014. He was born on January 10, 1952 in Cedartown. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard and Alma Garmon Jackson

Mr. Jackson is survived by his parents; daughter, Laura Mathis; son and daughter-in-law, Phillip Jackson and Kristine; sister and brother-in-law, Teresa McClure and Bill; grandchildren, Briley Mathis, Lily Jackson and Layla Jackson and dog, Charlie.

A graveside service for Mr. Jackson will be conducted on Friday, July 25, 2014 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the Greenwood Cemetery with Dr. Steve Fetkenhour officiating.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Tim Holcomb, David Brock, Mike Garner, Dennis Grimes, John Garner and Barry Carter. Honorary pallbearers will be Ray Peterson, Julius "Peanut" Spann and Joel Garner.
