Mr. Perry Wilson Lockridge, age 90, of Cedartown passed away on Thursday, Sept. 28, 2006. He was born March 27, 1916 in Floyd County.

Mr. Lockridge is preceded in death by parents, Thomas Lockridge and Nellie McCain Lockridge and son, Perry Wilson Lockridge, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Myrtle Williams Lockridge; Son and Daughter-in-Law, Preston and Wendy Lockridge; Daughter and Son-in-Law, Larry and Rita McCain; and Daughter-in-law, Beverly Lockridge of Anderson, SC; Sisters, Betty Lockridge Thompson, Armuchee; Frances Lockridge Landers of Cedartown. Ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren also survive.

The funeral service for Mr. Perry Wilson Lockridge will be conducted on Sunday, October 1st at 4:00p.m. at the West Avenue Church of God with the Rev. Delton Harne, Rev. Danny Rhodes, and Rev. Jason Stringer officiating. Mr. Lockridge will lie in state from 3:00 until 4:00p.m. at the Church. Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, Sept. 30th from 6:00 until 9:00p.m. at Gammage Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Tommy Lockridge, Jeff McCain, Jason McCain, Scotty Lockridge, Kevin Watters, and John Miller. Honorary pallbearers are Josh Tucker, Chris Tucker, and T. J. Lockridge.
