Mr. Percy David McKinney, Jr., age 77 of Dallas passed away Saturday, July 29, 2006. He was born on November 9, 1928 in Gibsonville, North Carolina.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Percy David McKinney, Sr. and Hattie Susan Kennedy McKinney; brothers, Joseph Lyndon McKinney and Claude Turner McKinney.

Mr. McKinney is survived by his wife, Marcelle Shiflett McKinney; daughter and son-in-law, Denna McKinney Anderson and David Anderson; sisters-in-law, Dalois McKinney and Lois McKinney. Also surviving are grandchildren, Jonathon David East, Enoch Wayne Cheatwood, Kayla Joyce Cheatwood and Preston Kenneth Cheatwood and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, August 1st at 3:00PM in the Chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Don Voyles officiating. Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery with full military rites conducted by the Brewster Cleveland Post # 86 Honor Guard.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 31st from 6:00p.m. until 9:oop.m. at Gammage Funeral Home.
