Mrs. Pecolia Ann Chadwick Hughes, age 84, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2020.  She was born on January 6, 1936 in Fort Payne, Alabama.  She was the daughter of the late J.C. and Naomi Blaylock Chadwick.

Mrs. Hughes is survived by her sons, Mark Hughes (Celeste) and David Hughes; brothers, Edward Chadwick (Linda) and Winston Chadwick; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and other extended family members.

Mrs. Hughes is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jack L. Hughes; sons, Sammy Hughes and Lamar Hughes and brothers, Michael Chadwick and Billy Joe Chadwick.

In accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines a private service will be held for Mrs. Hughes' immediate family.

The family is accepting flowers; however, memorial donations can also be made to the First United Methodist Church, 201 Wissahickon Avenue, Cedartown, GA 30125.
