Mrs. Pearl Inez Busby, age 87, of Rome, formerly of Cedartown, Georgia passed away on Monday, December 17, 2007. She was born September 19, 1920 in Polk County, daughter of the late Josh and Mary Lou Jones Billingsley.

Mrs. Busby is preceded in death by husband, Marvin Robert Busby, Sr.; her parents and sisters, Rose Cronan and Ann White; brother, Augustus Billingsley.

Family members surviving are sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis Michael Busby and his wife, Mary of Rome and Marvin Robert Busby, Jr. and his wife Sandra of Cedartown; sisters, Frances Cambron of Dallas and Mildred Loudermilk of Marietta. Grandchildren, Denise McCord and Kristina Maddox; three great-grandchildren also survive.

The funeral service for Mrs. Pearl Busby will be conducted on Friday, December 21 at 2:30 in the afternoon in the chapel of Olin L. Gammage & Sons Funeral Home with Dr. James Guy officiating. Interment will follow in Polk Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Friday at the funeral home beginning at 1:00 p.m. until the funeral at 2:30 p.m.
