Mrs. Patricia Elizabeth McNally McDurmon, age 79, of Cedartown, passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Floyd Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born on November 15, 1936 in Liverpool, England. She was the daughter of the late Clement and Mary McDougal McNally.
Mrs. Pat was a wonderful mom, grandmother and homemaker. She attended Rolling Hills Baptist Church in Cedartown and was an active member of the Cedartown Senior Center where she had many dear friends and where she met her special friend Mr. Gary Highfield.
Mrs. Pat is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy M. Johnson and Clay of Rockmart; son, Mark McDurmon of Cedartown; sister and brother-in-law, Nina Owens and Bill of Santa Barbara, CA; brothers and sister-in-laws, Jimmy McNally and Sandra and Tony McNally and Terry of U.K.; grandchildren, Rev. Todd and Brooke Jones, Tim and Paige Jones, Mallory Jones, Jackie McDurmon, Scott McDurmon, Brett and Bonnie Johnson and Evan Johnson; many great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Pat is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Donald Eugene McDurmon and brother, Sonny McNally of U.K.
The funeral arrangements for Mrs. Patricia Elizabeth McNally McDurmon will be conducted on Friday, November 11, 2016 at one o'clock in the afternoon in the Chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Atkins, Rev. Todd Jones and Mr. Gary Highfield officiating. After the funeral per Mrs. McDurmon's wishes' she will be cremated.
The family of Mrs. McDurmon will receive family and friends on Friday, November 11, 2016 from twelve (Noon) until the funeral hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.
The family has requested that flowers are to be omitted and donations can be made to the American Lung Association, 1200 Hosford Street, Suite 101 Hudson, WI 54016-9316.
