Mrs. Pansey E. Meeks, age 97, formerly of Cedartown Georgia passed away Saturday May 7, 2005. She was born on February 13, 1908 in Polk County to the late Isabell Elizabeth Little and James Olin Meeks.
Mrs. Meeks is preceded in death by her Mother Isabell Elizabeth Little, Father James Olin Meeks, Sisters Loretta Hampton & Lucille Parten,
Brothers Curtis C. Meeks Sr. & Opie O. Meeks, Nephew Larry Meeks, Sr. and Niece Janice Lee Meeks.

She is survived by Carolyn Pruitt Reagan, James W. Meeks, Linda Atkins, Bob Meeks, Annette Berger, and Curry Meeks. Mrs. Meeks is also survived by 13 Great Nieces & Nephews along with 20 Great Great Nieces & Nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday May 8th from 5:00PM until 9:00PM at the Olin L.Gammage & Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral for Mrs. Pansey E. Meeks will be conducted on Monday, May 9th at 2:00PM in the Chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Thomas, Rev. Marvin Mobbs, Rev. Amos Whitman, and Rev. Scott Pruitt officiating. The interment will follow in the New Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery.

The Pallbearers are Keith Pruitt, Kelley Mobley, Ryan Berger, Blake Berger, and Wayne Meeks. The Honorary Pallbearers are Curtis Meeks, Thomas Meeks, Brent Meeks, and Kody Meeks.
