Mr. Oscar James Crosby, Age 64, of Cedartown, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2005. He was born on July 27, 1941 in St. Cloud, Florida.

Mr. Crosby and his wife, Maurine managed the Cedartown Badcock Home Furnishing Center for 10 years. Mr. Crosby will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Ruth Crosby.

Mr. Crosby is survived by his wife, Maurine Jarvis Crosby; his father, James Richard; Daughter, Pamela Maurine Crosby Teague; Sons, Oscar Blaine Crosby, Rodney Brian Crosby, Byron Scott Crosby, Craig Bowen Crosby and Heath Boyd Crosby; a sister, Deborah Ruth Crosby; brothers, Clifford Eugene Crosby, Stanley Glenn Crosby, Jerry Mitchell Crosby, Gary Richard Crosby, Dale Allen Crosby and Terry Crosby. Also surviving are 12 Grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 2nd from 6:30PM until 8:30PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, September 3rd at 2:00PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Cedartown with President Herbert Lindsey conducting. Interment will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery in St. Cloud, Florida.

Pallbearers are Eugene Crosby, Stanley Crosby, Jerry Crosby, Gary Crosby, Dale Crosby, Terry Crosby, Honorary Pallbearers are Blaine Crosby, Rodney Crosby, Scott Crosby, Craig Crosby Heath Crosby and William Teague.
