Mrs. Opal Geneva Perdue Daniel, 91, of Greensboro, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at Moses Cone Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Daniel was born May 11, 1921 in Mayodan, NC, to the late Edward Washington and Dovie Via Perdue. She was preceded in death by her husband William G. Daniel, Sr. and sister, Geraldine P. Farmer.

Survivors include her daughter, Becky Svoboda (Erik); sons, William Daniel Jr. (Gail), Mark Daniel and Charles Daniel; brothers, Vinson Perdue, Javon Perdue (Pat); sister, Marie Grogan; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A graveside committal service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 23, 2012 at Mayodan Moravian Church. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. at First Moravian Church in Greensboro followed by a gathering with friends and family in the fellowship hall.
