Mrs. Olivia Jean Woody Chandler, age 79, of Cedartown, GA, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2026. She was born on November 25, 1946 in Rome, Georgia to the late Edward Henderson Woody and Annie Louella Pierce Woody.

She is survived by her husband, James Chandler; son & daughter-in-law, James Brian Chandler & Laurie; and grandchildren, William Chandler and Jessica Chandler.

The family will receive family and friends on Thursday, October 15, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the Gamage Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held in the Gammage Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, October 15, 2026, at 2:00 PM in the afternoon with Rev. Tony Christie officiating. Interment will follow the service in Greenwood Cemetery.

The family has requested that flowers be omitted and that memorial donations may be made to the ALS Georgia Chapter or The Second Baptist Church of Cedartown Building Fund.
