Mrs. Nora Posey Burchfield, age 77, of Piedmont, Ala passed away on December 28, 2004 in an out of town hospital. She was born March 7, 1927 daughter of the late J.C. and Pluma A. Posey.

She was worked at Standard Coosa Thacher Co. in Piedmont and two textile companies in Center, Ala.

Mrs. Nora P. Burchfield was married to Elender "Mac" Burchfield and was preceded in death by him on May 8th of this year. In addition to her parents Mrs. Burchfield was also preceded in death by a brother, Cecil Posey.

Mrs. Nora Posey Burchfield is survived by her sister Eula Posey Williams of Virginia Beach, Virginia and brother and sister-in-law, Hump and Shirley Posey of Cedartown. Nieces and Nephews also survive.

The funeral for Mrs. Nora Posey Burchfield will be conducted Thursday, December 30th at 7 pm at the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Orville Smith officiating. Interment will be held at Greenwood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday, December 30th from 6 to 7 pm at the Funeral Home.
