Mr. Noah Winkles, age 97, of Cedartown, Georgia passed away on Friday, October 3, 2008. He was born September 24, 1911 in Polk County. He was a member of Friendly Baptist Church.

Mr. Winkles is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Glenda Jackson; four grandchildren and 4 great-grand children.

He is preceded in death by daughters, Joyce Goss, Ester McRae; grandson, Phil Kelly; great granddaughters, Tatum Everett, Tammy Barnett, Brandy Holbrooks; sisters, Nobie Evans, Josie Snow, Lola Sloman, Mary Wood, Ida Steely; brothers, Roy Winkles, J. C. Winkles, Henry Winkles, Robert Winkles.

The graveside service for Mr. Noah Winkles will be conducted on Sunday, October 5, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Northview Cemetery with Rev. Todd Brown officiating. Eric Luallen, Bill Blevins, Aaron Holbrooks, Kenny Camp, Kyle Camp, and Tyler Camp will be serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the Gammage Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour.
