Mr. Nathaniel Smith, age 67, of Cedartown passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2008. He was born May 1, 1941, the son of E. C. Smith and Ada Sue Sanders Smith.

Family members surviving are wife, Barbara Jackson Smith. Nathan and Barbara were married for over forty-five years. Daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Bill Hammond; son, Shane Smith; grandchildren, Ryan Hammond, Anna Hammond, Jade Hammond and Hunter Smith also survive.

He is preceded in death by brothers, Buster Smith and Jimmy Ray Smith

The funeral service will be conducted on Friday, October 3, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Brown officiating. The interment service will follow at Polk Memory Gardens.

Flowers will be accepted, however, contributions in memory of Mr. Nathaniel Smith may be given to Oak Grove Baptist Church, P. O. Box N, Cedartown, GA 30125.
