Mrs. Myrtice Virginia Gladden Stillwell age 85 of 284 Wheeler Ford Road, Rockmart passed away Saturday, August 12, 2006. She was born in Draketown on March 21, 1921.
She is preceded in death by husband, James Henry Percy Stillwell, parents, Charlie and Carrie Gladden, son, Charles Malcom Stillwell; sister, Annie Bell Hardin and a brother, J. Hugh Gladden.
Mrs. Stillwell is survived by daughters, Betty Akins and Lillian Williams; grandchildren Cindy Mallett, Lynn Wingo, Robbie Akins, Lisa Hulsey and Faith Green, great grandchildren, Jeremy Mallett, Brandon Wingo, Miranda Thompson, Amy Wingo, Samantha Mann and great great grandchildren, Sarah Grace Wingo, Cason Mann, Ashleigh Mallett and Braydon Wingo. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, August 15th at 2:00p.m. in the Chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. R.B. Hulsey, Rev. Jeff Hulsey and Rev. Joe Redding officiating. Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery
The family will receive friends on Monday, August 14th from 6:00p.m. until 9:00p.m. at Gammage Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Robbie Akins, Brandon Wingo, Jeremy Mallett, James Green, Jake Thompson and Derek Mann. Honorary Pallbearers are Bobby Akins, Henry Williams, Steve Wingo, Bob Zoerner, Braydon Wingo and Cason Mann.
