Mrs. Mozelle Shiflett Satterfield, age 84, of Mount Dora, FL, formerly of Cedartown, passed away on Aug. 1, 2006. She was born on August 27, 1921 in Polk County to the late Marion Shiflett and Lillian Atha Shiflett.

She was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Cedartown. At the time of her passing she was a member of Anna Kresge Memorial United Methodist Church. She was a retired employee of Diamond Shamrock Corporation.

Mrs. Satterfield is preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Virginia Shiflett and Mildred Chadwick; brother, Marion Shiflett, Jr.

Mrs. Satterfield is survived by daughter, Janice Sanders Johnson of Eustits, FL; granddaughter and her husband, Andrea Trimm Hampton and Jim Hampton of Mount Dora, FL; grandson and his wife, Brent Johnson and Paola Sermidi Johnson of Miramar, FL; granddaughter, Lori Johnson Palencia of Temple, GA; sister, Cleo Dyer of Cedartown. Seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.

The funeral service for Mrs. Mozelle Shiflett Satterfield will be conducted on Saturday, August 5th at 2:00p.m. in the Chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with the Rev. Eleanor Bentley officiating. Interment will follow in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Gary Chadwick, Marion Chadwick, David Johnson, Lee Chadwick, Stacy Chadwick and Michael Chadwick.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 4th from
7:00p.m. until 9:00p.m. at the funeral home.
