Rev. Moses J. Wilson, Jr., age 60 of Cedartown, passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2015. He was born on March 7, 1955 in Rockmart, Georgia. He was the son of the late Moses J. Wilson, Sr. and Johnnie Fields Wilson.
Rev. Wilson is survived by his wife, Darlene Vines Wilson; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and James Ray; sons, David Wilson and Jonathan Wilson, brothers, John E. Wilson and Michael A. Wilson; grandchildren, Breanna Weldon, Jayce Fields, Jacob Ray, Alex Ray and Blake Ray; great-grandchild, Rigden Ray and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral arrangements for Rev. Moses J. Wilson, Jr. will be conducted on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at three o'clock in the afternoon in the Chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Tucker officiating. Interment will follow in the Valley View Baptist Church Cemetery with military rites conducted by the Brewster-Cleveland American Legion Post #86.
The family of Rev. Wilson will receive family and friends on Friday, July 24, 2015 from five o'clock in the evening until eight o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Rocky Rochester, Jason Slaughter, Barney Wilkes, Adam Jenkins, Randy Coats, Tyler Dobbs, Brad Wilson and Greg Wilson. Honorary pallbearers will be: Max Cook, Jayce Fields, Breanna Weldon, Jacob Ray, Blake Bay, Alex Ray, Rigden Ray and Perry Wilson.
