Obituary

Mrs. Mildred Magaline Pruitt Forrister, age 87, of Cedartown passed away Friday, July 28, 2006. She was born on May 14, 1919 in Cleburn County, Alabama.

Mrs. Forrister was a member of Freedom Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Forrister; parents, Raymond and Carrie Pruitt; brothers, Lamar Pruitt and Russell Pruitt.

Mrs. Forrister is survived by daughters, Betty M. Pierce and Virginia Hardin Thomason; sons, James R. Forrister and Douglas Forrister; sisters, Beatrice Powell of Cedartown and Helen Bishop of Bremen; brother, Billy Pruitt of Piedmont, Alabama. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 12 great great grandchildren.

The funeral service for Mrs. Mildred Magaline Pruitt Forrister will be conducted on Sunday, July 30th at 2:00PM in the Chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Jeremy Wilkes, Terry Folsom and Ken Forrister. Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 29th from 7:00PM until 9:00PM at Gammage Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Rodney Hardin, Bart Forrister, Kyle Jones, Robbie Pyles, Ricky Pyles and Kam Forrister. Honorary Pallbearers are the Grandchildren, Great Grandchildren, Great Great Grandchildren.

The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Mildred Magaline Pruitt Forrister.
