Mr. Michael Harold Nix, age 73, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, February 26, 2022. He was born on December 26, 1948 in Carrollton, Georgia. He was the son of the late Mr. Harold Nix and Mrs. Louise Ely Nix.
Mr. Nix is survived by his wife; Vicki Guice Nix; daughters, Jordan Nix Ralston (Peter John) and Jessica Atkins (Brandon); sister, Carol Brannon (Bobby); 10 grandchildren; Lexi Nix, Tristan Nix, Addison Nix, Logan Nix, Graden Nix, Ashton Nix, Gabriel Atkins, Landry Atkins, Isla Ralston, and Lucy Ralston.
Mr. Nix is preceded in death by his parents; and son, Joseph Noel Nix.
The funeral arrangements for Mr. Michael Harold Nix will be held on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at three o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Mr. Rick Pollard and Mrs. Jordan Ralston officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.
The family of Mr. Nix will receive family and friends on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 from one o'clock in the afternoon until the funeral hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.
The following will serve as pallbearers: Tristan Nix, Addison Nix, Peter Ralston, Brandon Atkins, Gabriel Atkins, and Kevin Bullard. Honorary pallbearers will be: Rick Pollard, Kyle Banks, Pat Carden, Jeff Abney, and Greg Lester.
