Mr. Michael "Mike" Harrison York, Sr., age 70 of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026.  He was born on December 16, 1955 in Rome, Georgia.  He was the son of the late Glenn Thomas York, Jr. and Vicki Vickers York.

Mr. York is survived by his children, Harris York (Taylor), Kristen Forston (Drew), Andrew York (Jenna), and Rudy Alford; brother, Tommy York (Renee); sister, Lisa York Fowler (Stan) and grandchildren, Zoey Forston, Harrison York, Grant Forston, Ann Catherine York, Charlotte Forston, Collins York, and Jack York.

In keeping with Mr. York's wishes, he was cremated.  A memorial service for Mr. York will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at three o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Benefield officiating.

The family of Mr. York will received family and friends on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 from one o'clock in the afternoon until the memorial service hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.
