Mrs. Meirlyn Strickland Crawford, age 81, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Monday, May 26,2014. She was born on March 31, 1933 in Haralson County. She was the daughter of the late William and Willie Elizabeth Rudeseal Strickland.

Mrs. Crawford is survived by daughter Diane Weston; sons Jerry Crawford, Donald Crawford, and Gary Crawford; grandchildren Dee Smith, Erin Davenport, Davie Crawford, Sherry Cantrell; Great-grandchildren Hunter Cantrell, Kaleb Smith, Kamdon Smith, Grant Davenport, Braylynn Roberts , Shelby Rae Davenport.

Mrs. Crawford is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lonnie Crawford; daughter, Sharon Irene Crawford; brothers, Clarence Strickland, Van Strickland, Lloyd Strickland, Arnold Strickland, Robert Earl Strickland, Preston Strickland; and sisters, Burlean Kitchens and Ledever Strickland.

The funeral arrangements for Mrs. Meirlyn Strickland Crawford will be conducted on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Two o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of Olin L. Gammage & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Foley officiating.

Interment will follow in Centre Cemetery in Felton, Georgia.

The family of Mrs. Meirlyn Strickland Crawford will receive family and friends on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 from Seven o'clock in the evening until Nine o'clock in evening at the funeral home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Joshua Smith, Steve Davenport, Tommy Davis, Joey Lee ,Jason Michaud and Davie Crawford. The following gentleman will serves as an Honorary Pallbearers; Bob Weston and Hunter Cantrell.
