Ms. Juanita Jones "Nita", Age 63 of Haralson County passed away Saturday, October 22, 2005. She was born on August 25, 1942 in Gilmer County.

Ms. Jones joined Mountain View Baptist Church in 1992 which is located in Haralson County. She was a legal secretary for nearly 20 years in the Cobb County Court and Legal System including the law offices of Sams, Glover and Gentry. Ms. Jones enjoyed many outdoor activities including horseback riding, gardening and riding her four-wheeler with her grandchildren and the neighborhood children.

She is preceded in death by her father, Dallas Ruel Padgett and a brother, Phillip Padgett.

She is survived by her mother, Vera Mae Padgett of Ellijay; Gerald Jones of Haralson County; daughter and son-in-law, Sheri and Sammy Hawkins of Kennesaw; a daughter, Leigh Ann Jones of Charleston, South Carolina; a sister, Jackie Fielder of Ellijay; and a brother, Danny Padgett of Morganton. Also surviving are 2 Grandsons, Phillip Hawkins and Michael Hawkins both of Kennesaw.

The funeral service for Ms. Juanita Jones "Nita" will be conducted on Monday, October 24th at 2: ooPM at Mountain View Baptist Church in Haralson County with the Rev. Tom Barfield officiating. Interment will follow in the Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Sunday, October 23rd from 2:00PM until 8:ooPM at Gammage Funeral Home in Cedartown.
